Competition was fierce and the judging intense at the Ohio Brew Week (OBW18) Homebrew Competition last weekend. Nearly 300 entries from homebrewers around the Ohio region were entered this year.

Cody Cheesebrough and Chris DeFazio are now officially the owners and operators of the Morgantown Brewing Company (MBC) brewpub on University Ave. They had formerly been having their beer made there under contract.

Blackwater Brewing Company seems to have ceased production at its Davis, WV, facility. It is unclear whether the brewery will restart under new management.
