Coming off its gold medal winning performance at the Great American Beer Festival, Millersburg Brewing Company is soon expanding its sales footprint to West Virginia, according to the brewery’s head brewer. The brewery’s home base is Millersburg, Ohio.

As has been reported in the rumor mill, the Charleston Brewing Company era is coming to an end. The brewery owned by Charleston resident Ann Saville is selling its assets to a new entity: Bad Shepherd Beer Company.

A barn-raising is underway in southern West Virginia, but it’s not your typical farm structure. This barn is the brewery building going up at Weathered Ground Brewery in Cool Ridge.
