Winter beer festivals on tap for WV

Don’t let the cold weather deter you from attending one of West Virginia’s winter beer festivals this season. These indoor festivals provides a nice warm atmosphere to complement the tasty cold craft beers.
On December 17, the Winter Beer Fest at Snowshoe Mountain Resort takes place inside, up on the mountain. On February 11, Cabin Fever Craft Beer Fest takes advantage of the indoor event space at Mylan Park in Morgantown.
Winter seasonal beers from state breweries will be on tap at these festivals — beers you won’t see at spring, summer, and fall festivals. It’s a good chance to check out cold weather beers from breweries all across the state. Of course, a selection of many year-round and other specialty brews will also be poured.

Sample more than 50 beers, from local favorites to nationally recognized award winners, inside out of the cold, all while enjoying the funky sounds of Optimus Rift and Lewisburg’s own The Spanglers. Admission includes souvenir cup. 21 years and over only.

Cabin Fever Craft Beer Fest

Cabin Fever Fest is North Central WV’s annual indoor winter craft beer festival featuring brews mostly from around the Mountain State. It also offers food and merchant vendors with a distinct focus on Appalachian culture.
A ticket gets you 6 hours of unlimited 4 oz. pours. Tickets go on sale Nov. 1 and can also be purchased at the gate. 21 years and over only. Non-beer tasting tickets are also available.
