The 2nd Annual Hometown Brewfest features beers from eight West Virginia breweries, including Big Timber, Mountain State Brewing, High Ground Brewing, Screech Owl, The Free Folk Brewery, Hawk Knob, Greenbrier Valley Brewing, Stumptown. Live music by DJ Strizy, Juice Newsom & The Groove, Electric Blue and the Sodapop Gypsies. Fest raffle proceeds support the Tucker County Ambulance Authority.

This new festival announced it will raise fund for the Country Roads Trust, which supports athletes at West Virginia University. Featuring more than 40 breweries and 100 beers, ciders, hard seltzers, hard kombuchas, meads, and more.

Now in its 7th year, this festival features 50+ craft beers in the middle of downtown Morgantown. Whether you like cupcakes or not, come enjoy craft beer from West Virginia brewers and many other beers from local beer distributors. Beyond beer, vendors will be on hand, featuring artisan products, food, and crafters from around West Virginia. Admission includes a 7-oz. commemorative cup for your beer tasting and cupcakes from the Cupcakerie.
WV brewers include Abolitionist Ale Works, Parkersburg Brewing, Greenbrier Valley Brewing, Screech Old Brewing, Big Timber Brewing, Chestnut Brew Works, and The Freefolk Brewery. WV Ciders from Hawk Knob and Swilled Dog.
Cupcakes galore… Live entertainment and contests. Festival profits support Walk To End Alzheimers.

Foam at the Dome moves to an early June date this year, at the beautiful State Capitol Building location. Over 200 beers and other beverages expected. A good mix of West Virginia and regional craft breweries. Eight restaurant vendors, plus 20 artists/crafts people, and three local bands rounding out the offerings. Old Colony Realty is this year’s prime sponsor.
Foam at the Dome is a fundraiser for Charleston Urban Works. Profits support its East End and West Side urban development program. Over the years, Foam at the Dome raised well over $200,000 for East End and West Side revitalization programs.

If you are a fan of music festivals and craft beverages, you’ll want to checkout the 6th Annual Brewgrass Festival, hosted by Taps at Heritage, founder, Ray Frye and a team of dedicated volunteers. The annual event raises money for the local Veterans Home and the Huntington community.
Organizers say this year’s fest will add new bands and a wine tent Expect 50 or more craft beers, wines, and ciders from around the world along with artisan vendors, food, and more. The event features a wide range of music by singer-songwriters, rock bands, and bluegrass performers.

Still West Virginia’s largest and best pure craft beer event, the Rails & Ales Festival will bring together many of the state’s best breweries and mix them in with a super selection of regional, national, and international craft beers. Also featuring a Beer Garden for pint sales again this year. The fest takes place on a gorgeous riverfront park along the Ohio River in downtown Huntington. Lots of food vendors and live music.

Mountaineer Brewfest is held at a spectacular venue in downtown Wheeling along the beautiful Ohio River. It offers a good mix of West Virginia craft and out-of-state brews. Lots of food options. Musical entertainment all evening. General admission includes 10 samples, a commemorative mug, and live musical entertainment. The festival makes a large contribution to their selected local charity each year. Has raised over $200,000 for local charities. This year’s charity TBA soon.

The City of Bluefield presents its Oktoberfest In The Park. German foods, beer and bands will bring a festive atmosphere to what the city promises will be a laid-back-type of festival similar to the Bramwell Oktoberfest of old.
Because the festival is held on the Virginia side of Bluefield, the beer list will include a number of breweries not available in West Virginia. Admission gets you a cup and unlimited sampling.
The festival is sponsored by The Bluefield Beautification Commission.

This festival combines beer & wine with a sanctioned chili cookoff. Now in its second year, we expect the Chili’N on the Elk Beer & Wine Festival will build on its initial success. All proceeds benefit the Elk River Trail Foundation and the beautification of the town of Clendenin.
