Appalachian Distillery adds flavors

Appalachian Distillery new flavors
Appalachian Distillery keeps bringing us new flavors of its Appalachian Moonshine. Pictured are Caramel Apple, Strawberry Lemonade, and Peach.

One fun thing about good mountain moonshine is that it can serve as a base for many other flavors.

Appalachian Distillery in Ripley, West Virginia, is one moonshiner that has been busy experimenting with quite a few natural flavoring ingredients for its blends. Finding what flavors work best and how to incorporate them is the distillery blender’s art. Appalachian’s head distiller, Dwayne Freeman, is as good as a blender any around the region. Growing from his endeavors are several new, flavored-moonshine products.

Caramel Apple, Strawberry Lemonade, and Peach have been added to the distillery’s already solid stable of products. Stop by the distillery for a free sample.  The new flavors are 40 Proof and are available in 375 ml and 750 ml bottles.
