A beautiful day for a fest

Beer flowed on the streets of Elk City (in festival glassware) Saturday. Charleston’s OktoberWest 2025 beer festival offered plenty of fun and beverage for everyone.

Brilliant Stream is especially appreciative of the many volunteers who, along with West Virginia’s small & independent brewers and local beer distributors, all joined together to make this fest a success.

We saw a bunch of local breweries pouring beer, including Fife Street, Bad Shepherd, Charleston Nano, Parkersburg, The Peddler, and Big Timber — and probably a couple more we missed. Local beer distributors working the fest included Spriggs, The Beverage Market, North Central, and Mountain State Beverage.
