Smitty and The Beverage Market

Michael “Smitty” Smith is a person who not only loves craft beer, but he also loves selling it. As a manager at one of the state’s leading craft beer distributors, Smitty is helping take craft to the next level in West Virginia.

Working for The Beverage Market in Charleston keeps Smitty at the forefront of pretty much all things craft beer. The West Virginia Beer Roads team caught up with him recently in Parkersburg at J.P. Henry’s Restaurant, where we recorded a podcast. Charles and Erin wanted to learn more about beer distribution in our state and to hear Smitty’s take on how it’s all going.
