Sustainable-Durable Can Carrier Rings

One of our favorite new products to learn about at the Craft Brewers Conference Expo was surprisingly simple. We loved the paper six-pack can carrier rings from a company called Earthrings®.

Earthrings® can carrier rings

A problem solver

The way we see it, Earthrings solves two problems.

First, it substitutes for the plastic rings that commonly hold 6-packs and 4-packs together. Using the compostable, 100% biodegradable Earthrings keeps plastic rings out of landfills and from being an animal hazard when tossed into the environment.

Second, Earthrings are more sturdy and durable than other paper-based alternatives. Earthrings hold up better in damp and wet environments. They won’t loosen and let cans fall out during shipment, shelf stocking, and handling — or when the customer pulls the 6-pack out of a retailer’s cold box.

Designed for brewers who care about the environment as much as they care about their beer packaging.

Inexpensive application options for the small brewery

Options for even the smallest brewery

For brewers, the simple applicator systems employed by Earthrings makes their product cost-accessible to even the smallest nano-brewers. Need a faster, more robust, automated system? Earthrings has those too.
