Two community beerfests on Nov. 2

The fall community beer festival season is not over yet. Two more local West Virginia beer festivals are coming up on Saturday, November 2.

Wagging Tails & Nitro Ales

This popular beerfest and chili cookoff combo will again be held in Nitro at the Living Memorial Park on 20th Street. It will kick off at 10:00 A.M. and run until 4:00 P.M. Beer sampling tickets and chili sampling tickets will be sold at the festival. No overall event ticket required for admission to the festival grounds.

Festival prodceeds help fund local animal rescue programs.

Oktoberfest Bluefield

This event was postponed from its original September date due to Hurricane Helene. It will now take place inside the Bluefield Arts Center in downtown Bluefield. Hours are 3:00 P.M. until 7:00 P.M. Come for the beverages, seasonal foods, and music by the Steel Cookin Band.

Your festival ticket gets you unlimited samples of craft and domestic beer, cider, and seltzer. Ticket prices increase at the door. Festival proceeds support community beautification projects in Bluefield.
