Great Beckley Beer Festival

The Great Beckley Beer Festival returns for another year. Expect beers and other beverages from over 30 craft breweries, including many from WV brewers. Your General Admission ticket includes unlimited samples and a commemorative GBBF Cup. Live bands, lots of food vendors, and local artisans.

This festival combines beer & wine with a sanctioned chili cookoff. Now in its second year, we expect the Chili’N on the Elk Beer & Wine Festival will build on its initial success. Will include local and regional crafters from throughout West Virginia — both WV beer and WV wine. Live music will be played along Main Street. All proceeds benefit the Elk River Trail Foundation and the beautification of the town of Clendenin.

The Happy Retreat Festival returns this year featuring local beers from Abolitionist Brew Works, Bavarian Brothers Brewing, and Brewing. Also available will be beers from other West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland brewers. Live music throughout the day from four bands. The price of a general admission ticket (age 21 and over) includes a 6.5 oz. tasting glass and 8 free tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets may be purchased.
All proceeds from the event will go to Friends of Happy Retreat which is a 501(c)3 non‐profit whose mission is to restore historic Happy Retreat buildings and grounds to serve as a vibrant center of cultural life and community gatherings.
