Best WV beers at Mountaineer Brewfest selected

Last Saturday, the 10th Annual Mountaineer Brewfest offered a beautiful variety of beer from West Virginia brewers. Each of those breweries could enter one beer into a competition to see who had the best beer at the festival. 

A team of beer judges from the Wheeling Alers Homebrew Club selected four outstanding brews from among the entries. The winning breweries were given a special Mountaineer Brewfest trophy belt to commemorate their win.

People’s Choice Winner

In addition to the expert beer judging, all festival attendees could vote for their favorite West Virginia brewery. The results are in and the People’s Choice award went to:
