First-ever West Virginia Moonshine Festival

This Saturday, July 6, you can sample the wares of West Virginia distillers at the inaugural West Virginia Moonshine Festival held in Harpers Ferry WV. Beyond sampling the whiskies straight, vendors at the event will be mixing up Moonshine cocktails for sale to attendees.  

WV distilleries & moonshines expected to be on hand include:

• Flying Squirrel-RADA Distillery from Purgitsville
• Devil’s Due Distillery from Kearneysville
• BootLeg Distilling from Martinsburg
• Still Hollow Spirits from Harman
• Hatfield & McCoy Moonshine from Gilbert
• Country Roads Distillery from Wheeling
• Swilled Dog Distillery from Upper Tract

It all takes place from 11:00 AM until 6:00 PM at the Barn of Harpers Ferry, which is a bar and event center located at 1062 W. Washington Street in Harpers Ferry, WV. You’ll also find food trucks on-site and a moonshine judging competition. Hear live music and more. Craft beer will also be sold.

Event admission tickets are $10 in advance and $15 at the door. At the festival, moonshine cocktails and bottles will be available at an additional cost.
