On news of Dan Wade’s death

We were extremely saddened today to learn of the death of Dan Wade, who was cofounder and director of operations at Wooden Robot Brewery in Charlotte. His death Tuesday resulted from a fall while at work at the brewery.

Wade was the creator of many of Wooden Robot’s most popular beers and led Wooden Robot to become a North Carolina staple over the past 10 years. The brewery calls itself an “urban farmhouse brewery that draws inspiration from traditional Belgian farmhouse breweries and the innovation of American craft brewing.”
