Bluefield Winter Warmer returns
February 9, 2023
A beer event returns later this month that is sure to heat up a chilly winter day. The Winter Warmer Craft Beer Festival comes to Bluefield, WV, on Saturday, February 25. Along with lots of craft beer, the fest features live music and plenty of food.
Winter Warmer takes place indoors at the Bluefield Arts Center at 500 Bland Street. Hours are from 3:00 P.M. to 7:00 P.M. Erica Seibert-Atwell, who is one of the festival organizers, says they’ve been doing this event for several years, and it has grown in popularity.
Beer Line Up
This year’s line-up of beer vendors include:
- Big Timber Brewing, Elkins
- Sophisticated Hound Brewing, Princeton
- The Freefolk Brewery, Fayetteville
- Mercer Wholesale, Bluefield (also hard seltzers and ciders)
- Weathered Ground Brewery, Cool Ridge — invited, awaiting confirmation.
Music, Food, Tickets
Dark Matters, a 9-piece soul band from Greenbrier County, will provide the music. For food, David’s Downtown will put out a spread of heavy hors d’oeuvres that are sure to hit the spot.
Tickets are $40 per person or 2 tickets for $75. The ticket price includes entry to the event, unlimited samples of all the beer, hard seltzers, and ciders, along with a selection of hors d’oeuvres.
