Huntington Mall beer fest debuts 10/23

One tasty option for some Saturday afternoon fun (Oct. 23) is the debut of the Corks & Kegs festival at the Huntington Mall in Barboursville, WV. This new indoor festival combines beer and wine tasting at one convenient location with tons of close by parking.
Tickets are available at the festival entrance on Saturday or can be purchased in advance online. Your admission ticket gets you four hours worth of beer and wine tastings.
Gates open at 4:00 PM and the festival ends at 8:00. General admission is $40 and VIP tickets are $60. VIPs will also have access to a VIP Room, which includes food by Christopher’s Eats, a private restroom, and two exclusive wines.
Corks & Kegs promises a nice selection of local, regional, national and international beer provided by distributors Mountain State Beverage and Spriggs Distributing. You should find plenty of options from Bell’s, Cigar City, Stone, Victory, Big Timber, Country Boy, and Bitburger, among others. Swilled Dog ciders will be there. Wines from Mountain State Beverage will include selections from California, Italy, France, Spain and West Virginia.
The festival takes place inside the mall at Macy’s Court and Center Court. Live entertainment is provided by Adam Parker & the Bourbon Cowboys, Carter Miller, and Essie Riddle.
