Can we be the best in the nation

Legislation currently before the West Virginia Legislature has the potential to give us some of the most progressive beverage alcohol regulation in the nation. House Bill 2025 is the crux of the effort. Sure it needs more work, but it provides a framework to take us from bottom quartile to the Top 10, especially in our desire to make WV a great place to produce, sell and consume craft beer, cider, wine and spirits.

On Episode 29 of WV Beer Roads, the Roundtable crew gets together and reviews HB 2025/SB299 — the positives and the negatives. The crew also tells craft beverage fans how they can help the effort. Listen in as Jeff McKay, Matt Kwasniewski, Chuck Johnson, and Rob Absten explain the bill’s contents and tell where it needs improvement.
