Folktober Fest. Close out your Octoberfest season with what we believe to be the final fest beer released this year by a West Virginia brewery. Richly colored, this beer has those luscious caramel flavors that come from toasted malt. A German Märzen-style lager that pairs so well with many foods. Prost! 5.5% ABV. (Untappd 3.71)

Another great find at Freefolk is their Trucker Speed IPA now available in 16-oz. cans. This popular, Citra hop-loaded Double IPA is also on draft at the taproom. 7.8% ABV. Available at the brewery. (Untappd 3.82)

Pawpaw Ya’ll. This gose-style ale is made with 300 pounds of pawpaw fruit and West Virginia salt from J.Q. Dickinson added to the tank. Look for its banana–mango forward flavor riding on a medium-bodied wheat beer base. Lightly tart. We dig pawpaws. 7.7% ABV. A brewery exclusive. (Untappd 3.82)
