On this eve of International Women’s Day, we salute all the women who help make our West Virginia craft beverage industry so vibrant. Whether you brew, package, manage, sell, serve, clean, or own, we salute you.
Our industry definitely needs more women involved. It needs more diversity overall. But men, we’ve still got work to do in creating workplaces where women, minorities, and people of all gender identities feel welcome, respected, safe, and comfortable. Respect their incredible abilities and minds. Treat them equally. Pay them equally. The workplace is no place for stereotypes or sexism. Let’s move our industry ahead in all respects.
