Before the pleasant fall weather is over in our mid-Atlantic region, you still have the opportunity to enjoy a beer festival. Saturday, November 3, offers some delicious options.
Putnam County Craft Beer Festival
For folks in the Charleston–Huntington region, we’ve got the inaugural big beer fest in Teays Valley. The Putnam County Craft Beer Festival takes place from noon to 4:00 PM at the Sleepy Hollow Golf Club, Hurricane. Choose from 60 different beers, including many from West Virginia breweries. A November 3 general admission ticket gets you 12 beer tasting tickets. V.I.P. ticket holders receive 16 tasting tickets, one hour early admission (11:00 A.M.), VIP parking, and a festival T-shirt. All attendees receive a commemorative tasting mug. General admission tickets are $28 and V.I.P.s are $38. Ticket Link
LoCo Hangar Fest
Beer fans in the Eastern Panhandle might want to hit the 2nd Annual LoCo Hangar Fest sponsored by Virginia’s LoCo Ale Trail. Over 25 Loudoun County breweries will be on hand at the ProJet Hangar at Leesburg Airport. Sample 50+ beers and chat with local brewmasters. The LoCo Ale Trail will also be brewing a special one-time release batch: LoCo Ale Trail Saison. LoCo Hangar Fest is the premier indoor fall beer festival of Northern Virginia. Beers of the Burgh
If you live in West Virginia’s North Central region or Northern Panhandle, a great option is the fall session of Beers of the Burgh. The festival takes place at the Hunt Armory in Pittsburgh’s Shadyside neighborhood. Expect 30 or more Western PA breweries to be there, including many of the hottest ones from Pittsburgh, such as Dancing Gnome and Grist House. Runs from 5:00 – 8:00 P.M. General admission is $49.
