Ohio Hops Conference Set

Are you interested in growing and marketing one of the most highly sought after agricultural crops for Ohio’s rapidly expanding craft brewing industry?

Brad R. Bergefurd, director of OSU South Center (Research Farm) in Piketon, Ohio has announced the second annual Ohio Hops Conference and Trade Show that will be held in partnership with the Ohio Craft Brewers Conference, February  5 and 6, 2015 at the Ohio State University/OARDC Shisler Conference Center and Fisher Auditorium, 1680 Madison Avenue, Wooster, Ohio.

This conference will be of interest to beginning, as well as advanced hop growers or anyone interested in the rapidly growing Ohio craft brewing and hops industry.  There will be a two day trade show that will showcase the latest in hops production and craft brewing technologies and a social banquet that will take place on Thursday evening.  Please see the attached flyer for full details.

Last year’s Ohio Hop Conference sold out early, therefore we suggest that those interested in attending this year to register as early as possible.  The deadline to register is January 25, 2015.

A beginner workshop “Getting Started in Hops Production”.  This workshop is being offered on Wednesday, February 4^th, and is separate from this conference. If you are a beginner, you will want to attend this workshop, but the cost and registration are separate from the two day conference.
