Hops – First Friday Tour on Saturday, December 5
This tour is for anyone interested in growing hops. The free program will cover:

Wheeling Brewing Company announced that the soft opening of its new brewpub will be the week of December 1st, with a big grand opening shindig scheduled around St. Patrick’s Day next March. Wheeling Brewing Company is located in Wheeling’s historic Centre Market district in downtown Wheeling, WV.

Virginia
Three Brothers Brewing of Harrisonburg, VA has released its Winter Trichotemy. The Winter three pack consists of a Spiced Winter Warmer, a Weizenbock, and a Tart Brown Ale. Look for these at select retail locations and on sale at the brewery.
North Carolina
Frog Level Brewing Company of Waynesville, NC, celebrates its third anniversary on Friday, December 5 from 3:00 to 11:00 pm. Stop in and show them some love.
Pennsylvania
Wigle Whiskey & Pittsburgh Distillery Group are hosting a talk by Lew Bryson, Managing Editor of Whisky Advocate Magazine, author of the book Tasting Whiskey, and expert on American whiskey. Lew embodies the spirit of Wigle’s Beer week — he is an expert on whiskey and is an unabashed beer nerd at well.
The event is set for Saturday, Nov. 22 at 12:00 noon.
Register ahead to enjoy the talk, tasting and conversation at Wigle’s BARRELHOUSE on Pittsburgh’s Northside. They will be sampling from their experimental Whims series, and Penn Brewery will be offering up their own beer samples and snacks as well.
