We operate an information service through a free website. Our website address is: https://brilliantstream.com. We do not sell products or services through our website, although we may provide links to external unaffiliated websites that do.
What personal data we collect and why we collect it
We collect no personal data except that which the visitor voluntarily submits in a contact form, subscription form, or feedback form. The personal information (name and email address) may be maintained for communication with the visitor. In each case, Brilliant Stream collects such information only insofar as is necessary or appropriate to fulfill the purpose of the visitor’s interaction with Brilliant Stream.
- We don’t share your personal information with anyone except to comply with the law, develop our products and services, or protect our rights. Brilliant Stream will not rent or sell potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information to anyone.
- We don’t store personal information on our servers unless required for the on-going operation of our site.

Comments
When visitors leave comments on the site we collect the data shown in the comments form, and also the visitor’s IP address and browser user agent string to help spam detection.
An anonymized string created from your email address (also called a hash) may be provided to the Gravatar service to see if you are using it. The Gravatar service privacy policy is available here: https://automattic.com/privacy/. After approval of your comment, your profile picture may be visible to the public in the context of your comment.
Comments and other content submitted to Akismet anti-spam service are not saved on our servers unless they were marked as false positives, in which case we may store them long enough to use them to improve the service to avoid future false positives.
Contact forms
We indefinitely maintain the information you provide when you complete a contact form or a feedback form.
Cookies
If you leave a comment on our site you may opt-in to saving your name, email address and website in cookies. These are for your convenience so that you do not have to fill in your details again when you leave another comment. These cookies will last for one year.
Embedded content from other websites
Articles and pages on this site may include links and embedded content (e.g. other websites, videos, images, social media sites, articles, etc.). Following links that take you to external, unaffiliated websites are not covered by this privacy policy. Who we share your data with
When you subscribe to our feed by email or enter your email to post a comment or feedback, we do not share your email address with any other parties, except for a third party that needs to know that information in order to process it on Brilliant Stream’s behalf or to provide services available at Brilliant Stream’s websites, and (ii) that have agreed not to disclose it to others. Some of those entities may be located outside of your home country; by using Brilliant Stream’s websites, you consent to the transfer of such information to them.
Brilliant Stream discloses potentially personally-identifying and personally-identifying information in response to a subpoena, court order or other governmental request.
How long we retain your data
If you leave a comment, the comment and its metadata may retained indefinitely. This is so we can recognize and approve any follow-up comments automatically instead of holding them in a moderation queue. For any comments determined by this website to be spam, the comments and all related data are deleted.
Business transfers
If Brilliant Stream were to cease operation, user information could be one of the assets that might be transferred to or acquired by a third party. You acknowledge that such transfers may occur, and that any acquirer of Brilliant Stream data may continue to use your personal information as set forth in this policy.
What rights you have over your data
If you have left comments, you can request to receive an exported file of the personal data you have provided to us. You can also request that we erase any personal data we hold about you. This does not include any data we are obliged to keep for administrative, legal, or security purposes.
Where we send your data
Visitor comments may be checked through an automated spam detection service. Brilliant Stream may collect statistics about the behavior of visitors to its websites. For instance, Brilliant Stream may use spam screened by the Akismet service to help identify spam.

Although most changes are likely to be minor, Brilliant Stream may change its Privacy Policy from time to time, and in Brilliant Stream’s sole discretion.
