Fife Club founded

With small breweries always on the lookout for better ways to connect with customers, Fife Street Brewing tries a new way. Fife Street bartender Tristin Lusk recently gave me a Fife Club Beer Journal pamphlet that I found most interesting.

Seeking Input
Fife Club allows regular customers a method to get their beer opinions heard by the brewers and managers of the popular brewery. There’s a lot of value to breweries in hearing from customers about beer quality, consistency, drinkability, and about what styles regular customers would like see more of.
Join the Fife Club
Over the next several weeks (through February. 14), Fife customers are asked to purchase, sample and record their thoughts on each of 12 different Fife Street beers. They record their thoughts and tasting notes on each beer in the Beer Journal pamphlet. Once finished, customers submit their completed Beer Journal to the brewery. The brewery then enters them into membership in the Fife Club and invites them to participate in a Fife Club meeting.

At the initial meeting, Fife Street head brewer Gil Peterson and general manager John Q will lead tastings and discussions of Fife Street beer. Fife Club members will then vote on which beer style Fife should brew next. This seems like an effective way for regular customers to learn more about Fife Street products and to share their reactions and thoughts on the beer with those in charge.
Enjoy the beer
Later, when the beer style they voted on is brewed and ready to put on the taps, Fife Club members will be invited to a special release tasting.
So, who wants to join? To get started, stop by the brewery and pick up your Beer Journal.

Should be fun.
