The 4th Annual Hometown Brewfest features beers from around ten West Virginia breweries, invited include Big Timber, Mountain State Brewing, High Ground Brewing, Screech Owl, The FreeFolk Brewery, Hawk Knob, Greenbrier Valley Brewing, Fox Hops, Stumptown Ales, and others. Live music, food, raffles & more. Fest proceeds support the local food bank.

This 3rd iteration of WV Beer Fest expects to have products from 40+ breweries and expects over 100 beers, ciders, hard seltzers, meads, and more. Occurring on Valentine’s Day this year, the festival will again raise funds for the Country Roads Trust, which supports athletes at West Virginia University. Special features include the WV BrewFest Bar with loads of the beers from WV brewers, numerous local craft vendors, and popular musical entertainment. WVBF also says it will be offering exclusive and rare beers, one-offs, and special beers you can’t find on store shelves.

Now in its 8th year, this festival features 50+ craft beers in the middle of downtown Morgantown. Whether you like cupcakes or not, come enjoy craft beer from West Virginia brewers and many other beers from local beer distributors. Beyond beer, vendors will be on hand, featuring artisan products, food, and crafters from around West Virginia. Admission includes a 7-oz. commemorative cup for your beer tasting and cupcakes from the Cupcakerie.

Foam at the Dome

Foam at the Dome offers a May date this year at the beautiful State Capitol Building location. Over 200 beers and other beverages expected. A good mix of West Virginia and regional craft breweries. Expect about eight restaurant vendors, plus many artists/crafts people, and local bands rounding out the offerings. Old Colony Realty is this year’s prime sponsor.
Foam at the Dome is a fundraiser for Charleston Urban Works. Profits support its East End and West Side urban development program. Over the years, Foam at the Dome raised well over $200,000 for East End and West Side revitalization programs.

Brewgrass WV Festival

If you are a fan of music festivals and craft beverages, you’ll want to checkout the 8th Annual BrewGrass Festival, hosted by Taps at Heritage, founder, Ray Frye and a team of dedicated volunteers. The annual event raises money for the local Veterans Home and the Huntington community.
Organizers say this year’s fest will feature some great new bands. Expect 50 or more craft beers, wines, and ciders from around the world along with artisan vendors, food, and more. The music side of the event offers a wide range of styles by singer-songwriters, rock bands, and bluegrass performers.

Clarksburg’s first city beer festival promises “Big brews – Loud tunes – Good times.” Beer offerings led by six West Virginia breweries. A full card of music by some of the hottest Tribute Bands around. Enjoy West Virginia craft beers with classic southern rock music.

Now in its 13th year, and still West Virginia’s largest pure craft beer event, the Rails & Ales Festival brings together many of the state’s best breweries and mixes them in with a super selection of highly-rated regional, national, and international craft beers. The fest takes place at a gorgeous riverfront park along the Ohio River in downtown Huntington. Lots of food vendors and live music.

Mountaineer Brewfest will again take place this year at its spectacular venue in downtown Wheeling along the beautiful Ohio River. It offers a good mix of West Virginia craft and out-of-state brews. Lots of food options. Musical entertainment all evening. The festival makes a large contribution to their selected local charity each year. Has raised over $320,000 for local charities. The Happy Retreat Festival features local beers from Abolitionist Brew Works, Bavarian Brothers Brewing, and others. Also available will be beers from other West Virginia, Virginia, and Maryland brewers. Live music throughout the day from four bands. The price of a general admission ticket (age 21 and over) includes a 6.5 oz. tasting glass and 8 beer tasting tickets. Additional tasting tickets may be purchased.
All proceeds from the event will go to Friends of Happy Retreat, which is a non‐profit organization whose mission is to restore historic Happy Retreat buildings and grounds to serve as a vibrant center of cultural life and community gatherings.
