On Friday September 26th from 3:00-10:00 P.M. is Oktoberfest at Greenbrier Valley Brewing. The brewery will release its Appalachian Festbier, which is a traditional lager with a WV twist: They brewed it with locally grown Chinook hops from Sensorium Herbals in Lewisburg, WV.

Also look for the release of Backcountry Hunters and Anglers Collaboration Public Lands Pale Ale. This one is brewed with locally grown Cascade Wet Hops, also from Sensorium Herbals.

Along with other liquid specialties, the event will include traditional games, such as a keg toss from 3-6 PM, as well as a bounce house for kids.

Food options include special appearance pop up from The Burrito Bar that runs from 3-10 PM. Several other vendors will also be selling their wares.

Heading the music lineup is the Lone Wolf Revue at 6:00 P.M. Lead by local WV dobro legend Corey Lee McQuade, the Revue will feature a roster of star musicians.

The Oktoberfest event is open to all ages. Admission charge is $10 at the gate for adults. People under 18 are admitted free.
