West Virginia Fall Beer Festivals 2025

As the autumn weather cools, there’s nothing much better than hitting a beer festival. Perfect. 

Fortunately for us craft beer fans in West Virginia, fall festivals are offering taste excitement in several areas the state this year. 

Here is a listing of the ones we think will deliver a delicious overall beer-tasting experience. 

Oktoberfest Bluefield 

Mercer County presents its Oktoberfest in downtown Bluefield. German foods, beer, and bands will bring a festive atmosphere to what the city promises will be a Prost! sort of day. Hosted by the Bluefield Beautification Commission.

OktoberWest

The state’s favorite Oktoberfest event takes place in Charleston’s West Side Elk City district. Now in its 17th year. Sample 100 craft brews, including a number of limited Octoberfest and German varieties. Multiple food vendors provide nourishment. Sway to the sounds of live bands playing all evening. OktoberWest benefits Charleston Urban Works economic development program.

Hops on the Mon

This year, Hops on the Mon comes home to the Apothecary. The feast returns as Morgantown’s premier craft beer festival, offering two 3-hour sessions. They’ve carefully selected a beer list from across West Virginia, the U.S., and Europe to bring you an elite-level experience. Food available from the excellent Imposter Pizza.

Frank N Stein Festival

A beer and food festival in downtown Fairmont that provides attendees with the opportunity to sample amazing craft beers from breweries in and around West Virginia, as well as awesome food from local vendors.
