White Elephant Homebrew Contest

What West Virginia homebrewer wouldn’t like to see his or her IPA recipe served at the state’s most popular pizza and craft beer restaurants? It could be yours if you win the White Elephant homebrew contest.

Big Timber Brewing logoBig Timber Brewing Company and Pies & Pints Pizzeria, two of the state’s most innovative beer-related businesses, are collaborating on the contest and providing the judges.

White elephant contestHomebrewers around the state are busy designing and brewing up batches of their best IPAs for the contest, which takes place at 2:00 P.M. on February 11, 2017 in Elkins, WV.  Big Timber will host the competition in its new brewery building at 2 S. Davis Avenue.

After the champion is selected, the recipe of the winning beer will be brewed up by Big Timber Brewing to become their very first Big Timber White Elephant beer. White Elephant will then be sold at all West Virginia locations of Pies & Pints. What a tremendous opportunity for the state’s homebrewers.
